Planting for 2010
Happy to take orders for crops for this summer..chard, beetroot and spinach are already on their way.
Winter survivors

This is how the purple sprouting broccoli looked last week.. fantastic! Especially bearing in mind the winter cold snap went to something like -15C, cold enough to totally freeze the water tank.
The other winter survivor was the kale, in fact it will take a lot to kill off kale. Sadly my broad bean seedlings which I went ot so much trouble for didn't survive the cold either here or in Edinburgh.. I really think autumn planting of this veg so far north is a waste of time. Real shame as I love really tender fresh broad beans...maybe next year!
